Notes

Keep this addictive Thai chili sauce stored in an airtight container in the normal chamber of your fridge for up to 2 weeks. So, you can use it instantly whenever you crave it.
You can also freeze it for 2-3 months. However, it’ll get more liquid as it congeal.
You can use white or brown sugar if you want. But I prefer honey as honey is healthier and rich in antioxidants.
If you want the sauce thicker, add 1 more tablespoon of cornstarch. Otherwise, simmer the sauce for a longer time. Remember the sauce will get a little thicker when cold.
I made the recipe almost perfect to match anyone’s taste buds. But you can customize by adding more pepper, honey, and salt according to your taste.
Add roasted chili flakes if you love the smokiness in your sweet chili sauce.
Be careful while adding salt as fish sauce contains a lot of salt.
