Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Fresh huacatay leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Jalapeno or Green Chili Pepper Small-sized
  • 1  Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1  Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Lime juice
  • 1/4 Cup  Olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • First, measure all the required ingredients and arrange them into bowls.
  • Then, peeled the garlic, and rinse the garlic, huacatay leaves, cilantro leaves, and jalapeno. Remove excess water.
  •  Cut the jalapeno into small pieces.
  • Take a blender and blend the huacatay, cilantro, jalapeno, and garlic.
  • Add lime juice and olive oil into the prepared paste, and blend for 2 – 3 minutes again.
  • Lastly, add salt, mayonnaise, grated parmesan cheese and blend again.
  • At the end you will get the huacatay sauce with a smooth texture.
