To a large bowl toss ghost peppers, garlic, basil, brown sugar, honey and rum. Perfectly mix.
Reserving any liquid from the bowl, spread the mixture over a baking sheet.
At 350 degrees F., roast in the oven for 12 minutes.
Cool slightly then put the mixture—with the reserved liquid, apple cider vinegar, and salt to taste—into a food processor. Until smooth, keep working.
After swirling lime juice, pour the sauce into a glass container or bottle. For the flavors to meld, cover and let it sit at least 24 hours or more.
