- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Crushed Chilies
- 1/2 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 Cup soy sauce
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
Stir together the first six ingredients in a medium-sized pot. Once the pot is boiling, turn off the heat.
Mix the water and cornstarch together. After mixing for one minute, clumps should disappear
Reheat the sauce for 5 minutes, stirring intermittently.
Add the sauce after an hour. Put the sauce in the refrigerator. Approximately an hour later, it will become thicker. There are about two cups in it.
