Ingredients

  • 250 Gram Hot Peppers
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 ½ Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Cups Filtered Water Make sure the amount of water is enough to immerse the peppers in the fermentation jar
  • 4 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • Seasoning Ingredients Optional

Instructions

  • At first, peeled the garlic. Then, wash the garlic and pepper.
  • Cut the hot peppers from middle portion.
  • Prepare a 3% brine with 2 cup water and 2 ½ teaspoons of salt.
  • Take a fermentation jar and put the peppers, garlic, and brine.
  • Seal the jar and ferment for 2 – 3 weeks.
  • After that, strain the peppers and garlic to get fermented peppers and garlic.
  • Blend the peppers, garlic, ½ cup brine, and white vinegar to get a smooth puree.
  • Lastly, store the fermented hot peppers sauce in a glass bottle.
