Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¼ Pound Italian Sausage
  • 2 Small Onions
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Italian Herb Seasoning
  • ½ Teaspoon Dried Marjoram
  • 1 Can Tomato Sauce 29 Ounce
  • 1 Can Italian-Style Diced Tomatoes 14.5 Ounce
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste 6 Ounce
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon White Sugar

Instructions

  • Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Incorporate the Italian sausage and onion
  • Sauté and stir until the sausage is browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer the sausage and onions to a slow cooker
  • Place the ground beef in the same skillet over medium heat and season with marjoram, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and Italian seasoning
  • Cook and stir for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is browned and crumbly. Fill the slow cooker with the ground meat
  • Add 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, and then the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, and tomato paste
  • For eight hours, cook on low with a lid on. Add the sugar fifteen minutes before serving
