- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 4 Tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 ½ Teaspoon Soy Sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon Ginger Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Powder
Mix the Base together. In a medium bowl, whisk the Sriracha sauce and sugar. Combine them well to create a sauce base that won't change.
Add flavor enhancers. Combine lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger powder,Cayenne Powder, Rice Vinegar, chili garlic sauce , soy sauce water and Cornstarch . Then stir it again. It adds depth, tang, and heat to the sauce.
Make the season different. If needed, add a pinch of salt to the sauce. It is now up to you to modify the recipes according to your preferences. You can add a little more honey if you want it to be sweeter. Add more Sriracha if you want it hotter.
Finishing touches. For a smoother sauce, you can mix or whisk it very hard. You can now add mayonnaise or Greek yogurt to make it creamier.
Let the sauce rest. To ensure a thorough mixing of the flavors, allow the sauce to sit for five minutes. A little rest makes a big difference.
