Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Powder

Instructions

  • Mix the Base together. In a medium bowl, whisk the Sriracha sauce and  sugar. Combine them well to create a sauce base that won't change.
  • Add flavor enhancers. Combine lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger powder,Cayenne Powder, Rice Vinegar, chili garlic sauce , soy sauce water and Cornstarch . Then stir it again. It adds depth, tang, and heat to the sauce.
  • Make the season different. If needed, add a pinch of salt to the sauce. It is now up to you to modify the recipes according to your preferences. You can add a little more honey if you want it to be sweeter. Add more Sriracha if you want it hotter.
  • Finishing touches. For a smoother sauce, you can mix or whisk it very hard. You can now add mayonnaise or Greek yogurt to make it creamier.
  •  Let the sauce rest. To ensure a thorough mixing of the flavors, allow the sauce to sit for five minutes. A little rest makes a big difference.
