- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Chipotle Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon o Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Yellow Mustard Powder
Measure and put all the ingredients in a bowl
Whisk very well so that all the ingredients are well mixed. Even out clumps if any
Spread right at your meat. Refrigerate the meat for 1 hour. Then it’s ready for grilling
Store in an airtight container. It’ll remain fresh for up to two months.
Use 1 tablespoon of rub per pound of meat. Or more if you want.
Make it more sweet, hot, or smoky by adding more sugar, chipotle, or paprika.
Also, you can keep it in a resealable bag in the freezer. Use instantly when needed.
Use jalapeno pepper if you don’t have Chipotle on hand.
Do not use more than 1⁄2 teaspoon of mustard powder. Otherwise, the rub may taste very bitter.
Always use dry bowls, spoons, and hands for mixing dry rubs. A little bit of moisture can ruin the whole game.
