- 1 Tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 Pound Tasso Ham Diced
- 2 Tsp Minced Shallots
- 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
- 1½ Cups Heavy Cream
- 2 Tsp Chopped Green Onions
- 1 Tsp Hot Sauce
- 1/2 Tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
First heat the oil and saute the tasso ham for 1 minute.
Add shallot and garlic on the hasso ham and let it cook for another 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream, let it boil, and simmer for some time so that the ham and sauce reduce to half.
Add green onions, hot sauce, lemon juice, and salt, and stir the mixture well.
Put the unsalted butter to make the sauce glossier. Adjust seasoning if needed.
