Method
- First heat the oil and saute the tasso ham for 1 minute.
- Add shallot and garlic on the hasso ham and let it cook for another 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, let it boil, and simmer for some time so that the ham and sauce reduce to half.
- Add green onions, hot sauce, lemon juice, and salt, and stir the mixture well.
- Put the unsalted butter to make the sauce glossier. Adjust seasoning if needed.
