Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 Pound Tasso Ham Diced
  • 2 Tsp Minced Shallots
  • 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
  • Cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tsp Chopped Green Onions
  • 1 Tsp Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

Instructions

  • First heat the oil and saute the tasso ham for 1 minute.
  • Add shallot and garlic on the hasso ham and let it cook for another 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, let it boil, and simmer for some time so that the ham and sauce reduce to half.
  • Add green onions, hot sauce, lemon juice, and salt, and stir the mixture well.
  • Put the unsalted butter to make the sauce glossier. Adjust seasoning if needed.
