Ingredients

  • 6 Oz Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4-1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Small Jalapeño Optional, Finely Diced
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Optional: In a small saucepan, sauté diced jalapeño in a splash of oil for 2–3 minutes.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to the pan. Whisk to combine.
  • Bring to a low simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning (vinegar, sugar, spice).
  • Let cool, then bottle and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
