Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Chicken Breast
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper
  • 3 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Fresh Ginger
  • ¾ Cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Flakes
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Chopped Herbs
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Mix the marinade ingredients in a large bowl
  • Marinate the chicken in a plastic bag or a bowl and cover
  • Pre-marinate for 10 minutes in the fridge before cooking
  • When ready to fry, heat oil in a big pan on medium-high
  • Cook for 4–5 minutes after adding peppers
  • Add ginger and garlic and sauté 1 minute
  • Add the chicken and reserve the marinade, then stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until done
  • Pour the sauce over cooked chicken and boil for 10 minutes to blend flavors
  • This can be eaten alone or with rice
  • Use chile flakes, sesame seeds, and fresh herbs for garnish
