Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • ¼ Cup Brown Mustard Seeds
  • ¼ Cup Black Mustard Seeds
  • 1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Beer (Mexican Lager)
  • 4 Habanero Peppers
  • Salt To Taste

Instructions

  • Mix mustard seeds, vinegar, and beer in a large mixing bowl
  • Stir thoroughly. Transfer to a large jar and cover
  • To allow the seeds to absorb the liquid, place the jar in a dry place for at least 12 hours
  • The combo appears to be mustard seeds floating in liquid, however you will notice that the seeds become larger
  • Add salt and habanero peppers, and stir
  • Stir thoroughly
  • Transfer to a food processor and process according to your preference
  • To preserve the majority of the seeds, treat a tiny portion or fully blend them
  • I kept some seeds in mine after processing it to about 80%
  • Transfer the mustard to a sterile jar and proceed to serve!
  • As time passes, the flavors will continue to evolve
