Ingredients for Peaches

  • 10-12 Pieces Fresh Peaches
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice Optional

Ingredients for the Syrup

  • 4 Cups Water
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 Sticks Cinnamon Sticks
  • 4-5 Pieces Whole Clove

Instructions

  • First, prepare the peaches by removing the peel, applying blanching, and slicing the peaches. You can avoid slicing, if you want to preserve the whole peaches.
  • You can coat the slices of peaches or whole peeled peached with lemon juice to prevent browning reaction of peaches.
  • Secondly, prepare the peach syrup using water, sugar, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, lemon juice, and ginger powder.
  • Now, complete the canning process. Sterilize the jars and lids by water bathing.
  • Fill the jar with hot syrup and then seal the jar properly.
  • After sealing again apply water bathing to ensure no microorganisms growth.
  • Then, store the jar at dark, cool, dry place and avoid direct exposure of sunlight
