Ingredients

  • 1 Can San Marzano Tomatoes Whole peeled
  • 1/2 Cup Yellow Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan and cook onion until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  • Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Simmer uncovered for 25–30 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in fresh basil before serving or blend for a smoother texture.
