- 1 Can San Marzano Tomatoes Whole peeled
- 1/2 Cup Yellow Onion Finely chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Chopped
- 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
- 1 Pinch Black Pepper
- 1 Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
Heat olive oil in a saucepan and cook onion until soft.
Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer uncovered for 25–30 minutes until thickened.
Stir in fresh basil before serving or blend for a smoother texture.
