- 2 Pounds Short Ribs Bone-in
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Medium Onion Chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 Cup Red Wine
- 3 Cups Beef Broth
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2-3 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
- 2 Leaves Bay Leaves
- Salt And Pepper To Taste
- 1 Pound Pasta
Sear short ribs in olive oil until browned. Separate from the pot for a while.
Saute onion and garlic, then deglaze with wine.
Add broth, thyme, bay leaves, and short ribs. Braise for 2-3 hours.
Shred short rib meat and add heavy cream to the braising liquid. Simmer to thicken.
Cook pasta and toss with the sauce. Serve while hot.
