Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Short Ribs Bone-in
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion Chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Cup Red Wine
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2-3 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 2 Leaves Bay Leaves
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste
  • 1 Pound Pasta

Method
 

  1. Sear short ribs in olive oil until browned. Separate from the pot for a while.
  2. Saute onion and garlic, then deglaze with wine.
  3. Add broth, thyme, bay leaves, and short ribs. Braise for 2-3 hours.
  4. Shred short rib meat and add heavy cream to the braising liquid. Simmer to thicken.
  5. Cook pasta and toss with the sauce. Serve while hot.
