- 2 Cups Root Beer Regular, Not Diet
- 1 Cup Ketchup
- 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Salt Adjust to Taste
- 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
- A Pinch Cayenne Pepper Optional
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Let cool, then store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
