Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Chopped Fresh Rhubarb
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • 1-2 Tsp Corn Starch
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice Optional
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract Optional

Method
 

  1. Collect all the required ingredients in required amount.
  2. Prepare the fresh rhubarb, wash them and then chop them into ½ inch pieces.
  3. Cook the rhubarb with water and sugar in a saucepan over medium temperature.
  4. After becoming soft and sugar dissolve properly, blend them to create a smooth sauce like mixture using a hand blender.
  5. Stir with some cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  6. Simmer for 2 to 5 minutes to get desire consistency.
  7. Add a little lemon juice to intensify the tart and vanilla essence for satisfying flavors.
  8. Cool the sauce at room temperature.
  9. The rhubarb sauce is ready to serve.
