- 4 Cups Chopped Fresh Rhubarb
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- ¼ Cup Water
- 1-2 Tsp Corn Starch
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice Optional
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract Optional
Collect all the required ingredients in required amount.
Prepare the fresh rhubarb, wash them and then chop them into ½ inch pieces.
Cook the rhubarb with water and sugar in a saucepan over medium temperature.
After becoming soft and sugar dissolve properly, blend them to create a smooth sauce like mixture using a hand blender.
Stir with some cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
Simmer for 2 to 5 minutes to get desire consistency.
Add a little lemon juice to intensify the tart and vanilla essence for satisfying flavors.
Cool the sauce at room temperature.
The rhubarb sauce is ready to serve.
