  • 4 Cups Chopped Fresh Rhubarb
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • 1-2 Tsp Corn Starch
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice Optional
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract Optional

Instructions

  • Collect all the required ingredients in required amount.
  • Prepare the fresh rhubarb, wash them and then chop them into ½ inch pieces.
  • Cook the rhubarb with water and sugar in a saucepan over medium temperature.
  • After becoming soft and sugar dissolve properly, blend them to create a smooth sauce like mixture using a hand blender.
  • Stir with some cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  • Simmer for 2 to 5 minutes to get desire consistency.
  • Add a little lemon juice to intensify the tart and vanilla essence for satisfying flavors.
