- 1½ Cups Fresh Pineapple Finely Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 Tsp Ginger Grated
- 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Tsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp Water For Slurry
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice Fresh
Sauté garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in a small saucepan until fragrant.
Add pineapple, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer.
Cook for 8–10 minutes until the pineapple softens.
Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce. Simmer until thickened.
Finish with lime juice, stir, and let it cool.
