Ingredients

  • Cups Fresh Pineapple Finely Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Grated
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp Water For Slurry
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice Fresh

Instructions

  • Sauté garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in a small saucepan until fragrant.
  • Add pineapple, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes until the pineapple softens.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  • Finish with lime juice, stir, and let it cool.
