Ingredients
  

  • Cups Fresh Pineapple Finely Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Grated
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp Water For Slurry
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice Fresh

Method
 

  1. Sauté garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in a small saucepan until fragrant.
  2. Add pineapple, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook for 8–10 minutes until the pineapple softens.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Finish with lime juice, stir, and let it cool.
