In a saucepan, combine tomato paste, brown sugar, honey (maple syrup), water and molasses.
Stir in smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring often. Once it starts to bubble reduce to low heat.
Simmer for 10-12 minutes until thickened. Adjust with water if needed.
Taste and tweak seasoning if desired.
Let cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
