- 1/4 Cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Water or Brewed Coffee
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- A Pinch Salt
Whisk together cocoa powder and sugar in a saucepan.
Add water, milk, or brewed coffee and stir to dissolve.
Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Cool, store in an airtight container, and refrigerate.
