Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¼ Cup Diced Onion
  • ¼ Cup Minced Garlic
  • 3 Cups Canned Tomato
  • ½ Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ½ Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Basil
  • ½ Teaspoon Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Put a saucepan on heat. Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil until translucent
  • Next, add in the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Smash the tomatoes with spatula. Simmer for 15 minutes, covered. Keep the heat medium and stir occasionally
  • When tomatoes are melted in the sauce and your desired consistency is reached, turn off the flame. Serve warm with your pasta or meatballs. Enjoy
