Ingredients
  

  • 15 Oz No-added Tomato Paste
  • 2 Cups Low-sodium Vegetable or Chicken Broth
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Method
 

  1. First, heat olive oil in a saucepan on a medium heat.
  2. Add flour to the oil, and whisk it until it forms a roux. Cook it for 1 minute.
  3. Now add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir everything for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually add tomato sauce and broth while whisking so that it turns out smooth.
  5. Add apple cider vinegar, stir it, and let the mixture simmer in a low heat.
  6. Let the sauce cook for 10 to 15 minutes. And you must stir it continuously after some time until it gets thickened.
  7. Now let the sauce cool and store it in the fridge.
