Ingredients
  

  • 2 Red Bell Peppers Large
  • 1 Carrot Medium
  • 2-3 Fresno or Red Jalapeños
  • 1/4 Cup Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Method
 

  1. Roughly chop the bell peppers, carrot, and chilies.
  2. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook for 10–12 minutes, until softened.
  4. Blend until smooth, adding water if needed to adjust thickness.
  5. (Optional) Strain the sauce for a smooth texture.
  6. Cool and store in a glass jar. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
