Method
- In a large bowl add water, sugar, rice vinegar, hot sauce, garlic , ginger and light soy sauce
- Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes
- In a small bowl, mix the Cornstarch with two tablespoons of water
- Slowly add it to the pot that is already boiling while stirring all the time
- Simmer for another one to two minutes or until it starts to thicken
- Take the pot off the heat and let it cool down. Keep in the fridge
