- 1/2 Cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1.5 Inches Ginger Fresh
- 1.5 Tsp Light Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
In a large bowl add water, sugar, rice vinegar, hot sauce, garlic , ginger and light soy sauce
Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes
In a small bowl, mix the Cornstarch with two tablespoons of water
Slowly add it to the pot that is already boiling while stirring all the time
Simmer for another one to two minutes or until it starts to thicken
Take the pot off the heat and let it cool down. Keep in the fridge
