Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1  Lemon juice
  • ½ Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1  Cup White Wine
  • 1 Tablespoon Capers
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley
  • 2 Tablespoons Basil
  • ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Warm the pan and then add the olive oil. The onions should be sautéed for three to four minutes, or until tender
  • After adding the garlic, simmer for another minute or two
  • Add salt
  • Add the lemon juice and combine everything
  • Put in the crushed red pepper. The wine should be added after the lemon has boiled for 15 to 30 seconds
  • Heat the wine carefully for 5 minutes. Add the capers and lemon pieces
  • Reduce the heat and carefully stir in the heavy cream
  • When the mixture is heated, add the butter and stir it in. Add the black pepper, parsley, and basil and stir well
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, producing bubbles
  • Now that the sauce is finished, you can add whatever you want to it, including chicken, shrimp, cauliflower, or any other fish or vegetable
