Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • Salt As per taste
  • Black Pepper As per taste
  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch Slurry Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Cold Water
  • Few Drops Rice Vinegar or Extra Lemon Juice Optional

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add garlic, and sauté for 15 seconds, just until fragrant.
  • Pour in white wine and simmer for 3–4 minutes to reduce.
  • Add lemon juice, zest, and oregano. Let it cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, stir in the butter until melted and glossy.
  • For a thicker sauce, whisk in cornstarch slurry and heat briefly until it thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Add a splash of vinegar or lemon juice for extra brightness, if desired.
