- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1/2 Cup Dry White Wine
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Tsp Lemon Zest
- 1 Tsp Fresh Oregano
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- Salt As per taste
- Black Pepper As per taste
- 1 Tsp Cornstarch Slurry Optional
- 1 Tbsp Cold Water
- Few Drops Rice Vinegar or Extra Lemon Juice Optional
Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add garlic, and sauté for 15 seconds, just until fragrant.
Pour in white wine and simmer for 3–4 minutes to reduce.
Add lemon juice, zest, and oregano. Let it cook for 1–2 more minutes.
Turn off the heat, stir in the butter until melted and glossy.
For a thicker sauce, whisk in cornstarch slurry and heat briefly until it thickens.
Season with salt and pepper. Add a splash of vinegar or lemon juice for extra brightness, if desired.
