- 1 Pound Tomatillos
- 2 Jalapeño Peppers Medium
- 1/2 White Onion Medium
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Cilantro
- 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Cup Water
Boil the tomatillos and jalapeños in water for about 8–10 minutes until softened and slightly dull in color.
Drain and transfer the cooked tomatillos and peppers to a blender.
Add onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and water, then blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed for balance.
Pour into a clean jar or bottle.
