Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Tomatillos
  • 2 Jalapeño Peppers Medium
  • 1/2 White Onion Medium
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Boil the tomatillos and jalapeños in water for about 8–10 minutes until softened and slightly dull in color.
  • Drain and transfer the cooked tomatillos and peppers to a blender.
  • Add onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and water, then blend until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed for balance.
  • Pour into a clean jar or bottle.
