- Boil the tomatillos and jalapeños in water for about 8–10 minutes until softened and slightly dull in color.
- Drain and transfer the cooked tomatillos and peppers to a blender.
- Add onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and water, then blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed for balance.
- Pour into a clean jar or bottle.
