Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Tomatillos
  • 2 Jalapeño Peppers Medium
  • 1/2 White Onion Medium
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Water

Method
 

  1. Boil the tomatillos and jalapeños in water for about 8–10 minutes until softened and slightly dull in color.
  2. Drain and transfer the cooked tomatillos and peppers to a blender.
  3. Add onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and water, then blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed for balance.
  5. Pour into a clean jar or bottle.
