Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1/8 Tsp Xanthan Gum Optional
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Chives Optional

Method

  1. Take a small bowl and put soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water into it.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and red chilli flakes (if you are using them) into the bowl. Mix everything well.
  3. If you are using xanthan gum, sprinkle it over the mixture and whisk thoroughly. This will prevent any sort of clumping.
  4. Now garnish the sauce with some chopped chives.
  5. Let the sauce rest for 5 minutes so that the flavors meld.
  6. Now you can serve it as a dipping sauce for dumplings, momos, or any snack.
