Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1/8 Tsp Xanthan Gum Optional
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Chives Optional

Instructions

  • Take a small bowl and put soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water into it.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and red chilli flakes (if you are using them) into the bowl. Mix everything well.
  • If you are using xanthan gum, sprinkle it over the mixture and whisk thoroughly. This will prevent any sort of clumping.
  • Now garnish the sauce with some chopped chives.
  • Let the sauce rest for 5 minutes so that the flavors meld.
  • Now you can serve it as a dipping sauce for dumplings, momos, or any snack.
