Method
- Put your saucepan on the stove at medium heat
- Now add sugar, butter, nutmeg powder, ketchup, and butter
- This time mix them well with your spatula and cook for 5 minutes
- Once the ingredients are mixed well and the recipe gets a good texture, your sauce is ready
- Heat off the stove and serve your sauce with your favorite meatballs
Notes
- It’s a sweet-flavored sauce recipe. But if you want to add a bit of spicy taste, add 1 tsp of paprika powder. It will give a little extra heat to your sauce
- Adding mint will give a natural herb flavor. It will be tastier even than the canned meatloaf sauce
- If no brown sugar is available in your kitchen, go with the regular white sugar
- Adding BBQ sauce of 1 Tsp will increase the taste
- If you want to store it, you can. It’s well-storable for up to 3 months. But, store the sauce in an air-tight jar
