- ⅔ Cup Heavy Cream
- ½ Cup Light Corn Syrup
- ⅓ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 6 Ounces Bittersweet Chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
In a small saucepan, combine the cream, golden syrup, cocoa powder, brown sugar, salt, and half of the chocolate
Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a slow simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly
Remove the saucepan from the heat
Stir in the remaining chocolate, vanilla, butter, and salt until thoroughly combined and melted
Allow it to cool for 20 to 30 minutes, during which time it will thicken even more
