Method
- Take a saucepan. Add tamarind paste and water there. Stir them over a low heat.
- Add sugar and all the spices in the pan. Then add vinegar and soy sauce there (if using).
- Cook everything on a medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Also, stir them continuously.
- Taste the sauce. See if its sweetness, sourness, and everything else are perfect or not.
- Lastly, cool down the sauce, pour it into a glass jar, and store it in the refrigerator.
