- 1 Cup Grana Padano Cheese Finely grated
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 Tbsp All-purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- Salt and Pepper As Per Taste
- 1 Clove Garlic Optional, Minced
- A Pinch Nutmeg Optional
Make a roux by cooking butter and flour together in a saucepan.
