Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Datil peppers
  • 1 Cup Tomato paste/sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • Salt As per taste
  • Water As much needed

Instructions

  • Prepare your datil peppers first. Wash the roots well after removing them. A lighter sauce can also be made by taking out the seeds
  • Blend the chili peppers by cutting them into smaller pieces
  • Using a food processor or mixer, chop the datil peppers
  • Add the apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and tomato paste to a food processor or mixer and process until smooth
  • Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. To thin out a thick sauce, add a little water at a time
  • The seasonings can be changed according to your taste. A few drops of honey, a little salt, or even some dried chili peppers can add more heat
  • Make sure the sauce's taste and consistency are to your liking before putting it in a jar or other container
  • To ensure that the flavors blend well, place the sauce in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving
