Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Melt the sugar over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Stir constantly until it turns amber in color.
  • Add butter to the melted sugar. Stir until fully incorporated.
  • Pour in heavy cream slowly while stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken.
  • Stir in salt and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Cool slightly before using. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Reheat as needed.
