- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Melt the sugar over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Stir constantly until it turns amber in color.
Add butter to the melted sugar. Stir until fully incorporated.
Pour in heavy cream slowly while stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken.
Stir in salt and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Cool slightly before using. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Reheat as needed.
