Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Sodium Chloride
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Bars Unsalted Butter
  • 1/8 Tsp Xanthan Gum

Instructions

  • Add hot sauce, garlic powder, mustard powder, sodium chloride, and black pepper in a small size saucepan and mix them
  • Put the saucepan on your stove. You must keep the heat low and let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes
  • Take the bars of butter and chop them into square size
  • Heat off the stove and remove the saucepan
  • Now add the pieces of butter to the sauce and keep whisking to mix them well
  • Add xanthan gum and mix thoroughly
  • Now your sauce is ready to pour into a bottle

Notes

  • Sometimes your sauce can start to break and you notice some white lava spreading on the top. This is nothing to be worried about. It happens because the sauce is hot. In this case, you can let it 10 minutes to cool down before you add butter. However, it’s not necessary actually
  • The reason why the Chick-fil-A buffalo sauce becomes so tasty is because of its 4 unique additions. These are salt, fat, acid, and heat
  • You should add the gum sprinkling. Don’t put it in one place. Or it will get tight in one place and your sauce will be terrible

  • To get a nice thickness with extra flavor, you can add a little Greek yogurt to your sauce mixture
