Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Small Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Basil
  • 1/4 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Water Optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen the flavor.
  5. Pour in crushed tomatoes and stir to combine.
  6. Add sugar, salt, basil, oregano, and black pepper.
  7. Let it simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add a splash of water if the sauce gets too thick.
  9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  10. Cool slightly and blend for a smoother texture (optional).
