Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Pork
  • 1 Can Peeled Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Olive
  • 1 Tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan at a low flame.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute them until they become translucent.
  • Add ground pork, cook it until it becomes brown, and break it into small pieces.
  • Put in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, and mix them well.
  • Add water to adjust consistency. Also, season it with basil, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  • Gently boil the mixture and keep the flame low.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Meanwhile, stir it occasionally.
  • Cool the sauce and you can serve it with pasta and other Italian dishes.
