Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Italian Sausage
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Medium Onion Chopped
  • 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • Salt And Pepper As Per Taste
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Basil Optional, Chopped

Instructions

  • Break the sausage with a spoon and cook it in olive oil over medium-high heat until it turns brown. Remove unwanted grease.
  • Add onions and garlic and saute until softened.
  • Stir the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to mix. Let them simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve over pasta, pizza, or any of your favorite savory dishes.
