Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey or Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme
  • 1 Piece Bay Leaf
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ Cup Beef Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard Optional

Instructions

  • First, collect and measure all the required ingredients
  • Secondly, chopped the onion & garlic and sauté them in 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat in a saucepan
  • Thirdly, add the Balsamic vinegar and beef broth to the sautéed onion and garlic. If you are using Dijon mustard, add in this time and boil the solution for 5 – 10 minutes
  • Fourthly, add honey, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to season the sauce
  • Then, simmer for more 3 – 5 minutes to thicken the sauce
  • After simmering, if you get the perfect desired consistency, remove the saucepan from heat
  • Pour the sauce in a bowl
  • The Balsamic steak sauce is ready to use
  • Pour the sauce over cooked steak and enjoy yummy steak at home
